Seven hundred and fifty watts, for private ground
The ENGWE Engine Pro 2.0 runs a 52-volt system with a 750W motor, which is three times the UK road limit. We sell it for private land only: ground you own, or ground where you have permission.
Not a road, not a pavement, not a cycle path. That is the fact that decides this purchase.
Sixty-eight miles, which is unusual at this power
The claimed range is longer than four fifths of our catalogue, and high-power machines are usually the thirstiest things on a shelf.
A fifty-two volt system and a sixteen amp-hour pack are why: more energy stored, and moved at lower current so less of it turns into heat.
Fifty-two volts, and what it buys
The same power at a higher voltage means lower current, which means less heat in the controller and the wiring and less sag when the motor is working hard.
On a machine asked to pull uphill for minutes at a time, that is sustained power rather than a burst followed by a back-off.
Hydraulic brakes on 160mm rotors
Hydraulic discs front and rear. One finger is enough, they do not fade on a long descent, and they hold their bite when everything is wet and gritty.
On a seventy-pound machine with this much motor, cable brakes would be the part you thought about at the top of every hill.
Aluminium, which keeps it manageable
The frame is 6061 aluminium. At seventy pounds this is a heavy bike, and a steel version would be worse.
It also will not rust, which matters on something that lives outdoors between sessions.
Seventy-five newton metres through twenty-inch wheels
Small wheels put the torque down without the leverage a big wheel costs you, which is why a fat-tyre twenty-inch machine pulls away so hard.
They also keep the standover height low, so getting on and off a heavy bike is easy.
It folds, for the car
The hinge is about transport rather than storage: you drive to the land you are allowed to ride, and the bike goes in the boot.
Treat it as a way into a car, not as a way onto a train or up a flight of stairs.
Five and a half hours to fill
Reasonable for a pack this size. Charge after a session rather than before one, and it will always be ready.

What to do before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled.
- Unfold and lock the frame hinge, the stem and the seat post
- Bed the hydraulic brakes in at walking pace before using the power
- Set tyre pressure for the ground you are riding
- Confirm you have somewhere private and lawful to ride it
- Charge to full once before the first session
You cannot ride this on the road
A motor three times the legal limit is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle. It cannot be ridden on a public road, a pavement or a cycle path in the UK.
If you have the ground, this is the most range we offer on a private-land machine and the fifty-two volt system is what you are paying for. If you do not have the ground, none of that helps, and our 250W range will take you to work.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
