Its motor output and assisted top speed exceed the legal limits set by the UK Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) regulations, which cap electric bikes at 250W motor power and 15.5 mph (25 km/h). Because this bike exceeds both thresholds, it is classified as a motor vehicle and would require registration, insurance, and a valid licence to use on public roads. This bike is designed exclusively for use on private land such as farms, estates, and off-road tracks where road traffic law does not apply.

Powerful motor for hills and headwinds
Climb steep streets and push through blustery days with the U7’s 750W brushless motor, delivering up to 80Nm of torque. It reaches a top assisted speed of 28 mph, so you keep pace with traffic when you need to. The twist grip throttle gives you instant acceleration, while the Shimano 7-speed gears let you fine-tune your effort.
Long-range battery you can charge anywhere
Go further on a single charge with the 48V 20Ah Samsung lithium battery, giving you up to 40 miles of range. The battery is removable, so you can charge it at home, in the office or even in the garage. A full charge takes 5–6 hours, so it is ready for your next ride overnight.
Comfort and control on any surface
The U7 smooths out bumps with its front suspension fork and 20 x 4-inch fat tyres, giving you a stable, cushioned ride on tarmac, gravel or light trails. The step-through frame makes mounting easy, while the adjustable handlebar and seat let you find a relaxed riding position. A comfortable damping seat reduces fatigue on longer journeys.
Confident stopping in all weather
Ride with peace of mind thanks to the 180mm hydraulic disc brakes, which deliver strong, responsive stopping power even in the rain. The IPX6 water-resistance rating means the bike shrugs off splashes and puddles. An LED headlight and rear turn signal light keep you visible on dark mornings and busy roads.
Clear display and easy controls
Stay informed with the 48V LCD display, which shows your speed, battery level and pedal assist setting at a glance. Choose from five levels of pedal assistance to match your energy and terrain. The twist grip throttle and Shimano 7-speed shifter are placed within easy reach, so you can adjust without taking your eyes off the road.
Folds down for storage and transport
The U7’s foldable frame lets you tuck it into a hallway, car boot or under a desk at work. Despite its sturdy build, it folds quickly without tools. Weighing 70 lbs, it is manageable to lift into a car or carry up a few steps. Fenders are included to keep you clean on wet roads.
