Where you can and cannot ride it
The limit for an electrically assisted pedal cycle is 250W continuous and 15.5 mph of assistance. This is three times the power.
It is sold for your own property, or land where the owner has given you permission. If you need something for a commute on public roads, we list plenty of 250W bikes and will point you at the right one.
An air suspension fork with hydraulic lockout
Not a coil fork. An air fork is tuned to your weight with a pump, and the lockout stiffens it when you are on smooth ground so your pedalling is not absorbed by the suspension.
Front and rear together, this is a full suspension bike that folds, which is an unusual combination at any price.
Eighty newton metres, and 1200 watts of peak
The motor is rated 750W continuous and Vitilan quote up to 1200W peak with around 80 Nm of torque.
Eighty newton metres is a great deal for any electric bike. It is what moves a 78 pound bike plus a rider up a steep private track from a standing start, which is the job this bike exists for.
Twenty amp hours of Samsung cells
A 48 volt twenty amp hour Samsung pack, larger than nearly three quarters of our catalogue, and it comes off the frame to charge indoors.
Vitilan quote 40 to 65 miles. The wide spread is honest: a 750W motor on fat tyres will take the bottom of that range if you use the power, and the top of it if you pedal.

Signal turn lights and an electric horn
A rear light with turn signals built in, and an electric horn rather than a bell.
On a bike this fast on a private track with other people around, being seen changing direction is worth more than another specification line. Fenders are included, which most bikes in this class charge extra for.

Who it fits
Vitilan size it for riders between 5ft 3in and 6ft 5in. The saddle runs from 30.3 to 42.1 inches and the handlebar adjusts through three and a quarter inches, so there is real adjustment rather than one fixed position.
That is a wider fit range than most folding bikes manage, because the seat post and the bar both move.

It arrives folded and largely built.

Who should not buy it
Anyone who needs public roads, and anyone carrying a bike upstairs. Those are the two real limits and neither is negotiable.
Buy it if you have land and you want the full suspension, the air fork and the 80 newton metres in something that still goes in a boot. At £989 that combination does not exist elsewhere in our catalogue.

- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
