This Bike Is Not Road Legal. Private Land Use Only.
This bike cannot be ridden on public roads, pavements, or cycle paths in the UK. Its motor output and assisted top speed exceed the legal limits set by the UK Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) regulations, which cap electric bikes at 250W motor power and 15.5 mph (25 km/h). Because this bike exceeds both thresholds, it is classified as a motor vehicle and would require registration, insurance, and a valid licence to use on public roads. This bike is designed exclusively for use on private land such as farms, estates, and off-road tracks where road traffic law does not apply.

The Vitilan U3 is a full-suspension folding fat tyre electric bike built for British commuters, weekend explorers, and anyone who wants one machine for city streets and country tracks. With a 750W motor, 20 x 3 inch tyres, and a foldable aluminium frame, it tackles potholed roads, canal towpaths, and steep hills without feeling twitchy or underpowered. Whether you’re dodging traffic in Manchester or cruising the South Downs, the U3 gives you a smooth, confident ride that fits in a car boot or hallway cupboard.

Powerful 750W motor for steep climbs
You’ll clear long climbs and pull away from junctions with ease thanks to the 750W brushless rear hub motor. It produces 75 Nm of torque, so even loaded panniers or a rider up to 330 lbs won’t blunt acceleration. Twist the throttle and the U3 reaches 28 mph in electric-only mode, while the intelligent 0–5 level pedal assist lets you fine-tune effort on flatter stretches.

Removable 48V battery with 30-mile range
The 48V 13Ah battery locks onto the frame and slides off for charging at home or in the office. Expect around 30 miles per charge in mixed riding, though throttle-heavy use or hilly terrain will reduce that figure. Because the battery is removable, you can keep a spare indoors and avoid range anxiety on longer days out.

Dual suspension and fat tyres for comfort
Front fork suspension and a suspension seatpost soak up broken tarmac, tree roots, and gravel tracks before they reach your back. The 20 x 3 inch fat tyres add another layer of cushioning and grip, especially when pressures are lowered for soft ground. Together they make the U3 feel stable and forgiving, even on rutted bridleways or cobbled city streets.

Mechanical disc brakes for reliable stopping
160 mm mechanical disc brakes front and rear give you predictable stopping power in wet or muddy conditions. The levers are easy to modulate, so you can scrub speed gently on descents or brake hard when a car pulls out. Because they’re mechanical, maintenance is simple and parts are widely available at UK bike shops.

Clear LCD display and integrated lighting
The 48V LCD display shows speed, battery level, assist mode, and trip distance at a glance, even in bright sunlight. A twist grip throttle sits next to the left grip for instant electric power, while the electric horn and 48V LED tail light with turn signals help you stay seen in traffic. Front and rear lights are wired into the battery, so you never need to remember separate cells.

Foldable aluminium frame for easy storage
The U3 folds at the frame, making it compact enough for a train vestibule, office cupboard, or car boot. At 66.92 inches long unfolded and with a wheelbase of 49.21 inches, it rides like a full-size bike, but the fold takes seconds when you reach your destination. The aluminium frame keeps weight manageable while supporting up to 330 lbs, and the included mudguards help keep you clean on wet UK roads.
