The Engwe LE20's in-house 48V 250W brushless mid-drive motor delivers a massive 100 Nm of torque, giving you effortless acceleration even when fully loaded. Centrally positioned for optimal balance, it ensures smooth handling and stability on UK roads, from city streets to country lanes. The torque sensor responds instantly to your pedalling, providing natural and efficient assistance.
Dual battery option for up to 217 miles
Choose the dual-battery version and enjoy a remarkable range of up to 217 miles in pedal-assist mode 1, based on a 75 kg rider with no extra load. Each 48V 19.2Ah lithium-ion battery is EN15194-certified for safety and reliability, and can be charged in 6-8 hours with the standard charger. For even less downtime, the optional 8A FlashCharge cuts charging time to just 2-3 hours.

The LE20 is built for comfort on every journey, with a front suspension fork that smooths out potholes and rough surfaces. Its 20x3.0-inch puncture-proof spoke tires provide excellent grip and stability, while the adjustable saddle and handlebar heights accommodate riders from 5.0 ft to 6.3 ft. Safety comes first with top-tier hydraulic disc brakes featuring 180 mm rotors, delivering precise and powerful stopping even when fully loaded. The LE20 features a clear LCD colour display that shows your speed, battery level, and assist mode at a glance. Very comfortable and stable even on long full-day delivery shifts. Easy to ride and feels solid all day. Range is not as strong as expected, so charging planning is needed, and it’s quite heavy 👍
