This Model Is Fully Compliant With UK Road Regulations
This bike is built to comply with UK Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) regulations, meaning it can be used on public roads and cycle paths without registration, tax, or a licence. Motor assistance is limited to 250W and cuts off at 15.5 mph (25 km/h).
See UK LegislationThis one carries 540 Wh of battery. The maker quotes 34 mi; in mixed riding with some hills, expect nearer 26 mi. A full charge costs about £0.15. Across a year that is roughly £980.00 less than making the same journeys by car, so the bike pays for itself in about 8 months. Everything here is worked out from this bike's own specification. Estimates, not promises: the assumptions are printed underneath.

A hydraulic suspension fork on a five hundred and eighty nine pound bike
The SAMEBIKE RS-A01MEN runs 27.5 inch wheels with a hydraulic suspension fork and a suspended saddle, at £589 from £799.
Road legal at 250W: no licence, no tax, no insurance, nothing to register.

How it differs from the RS-A01 Pro-T
We list both at the same price. The Pro-T runs 26 inch wheels with an adjustable spring fork.
This one runs 27.5 inch wheels with a hydraulic fork. Bigger wheels roll better and hold speed; a hydraulic fork is damped rather than simply sprung, so it settles after a bump instead of bouncing. Take this one for smoothness and rolling, the Pro-T for a slightly shorter, more manoeuvrable bike.

Two range figures, and which one is in our table
SAMEBIKE publish 110 km with you pedalling and 55 km on the motor alone. That is 68 miles and 34 miles.
Our specification table carries 34 miles, the motor-only number, which is the conservative one. If you pedal, the pack has a good deal more in it than the table implies, and we would rather the table under-promised than over-promised.
The panel below computes the bands from the fifteen amp hours directly, so you can see both.

Fifty five newton metres
Solid for a 250W motor and well above the forty many bikes at this price manage. Torque is what pulls you away from a standstill and up a slope, and on a sixty two pound bike that is where you notice it.
Five assist levels through a Shimano seven speed shifter.

Twenty seven point five inch wheels on 2.1 inch tyres
A large wheel with a narrow tyre: the efficient combination, and the reason a fifteen amp hour pack goes as far as it does here.
- Rolls over ruts instead of dropping into them
- Holds speed once you have it
- An upright, traditional riding position
- A common tyre size available in every shop

Suspension at both ends of the rider, not the bike
A hydraulic fork at the front and a suspended saddle. Not a full suspension frame, but the two places a rider actually feels a British road surface.
It is the sensible place to spend suspension money on a city bike, because a rear shock on tarmac is weight you carry and rarely use.

High carbon steel, and the trade it represents
Steel rather than aluminium, which is why the bike is sixty two pounds rather than fifty five.
In exchange it flexes slightly under load rather than transmitting every jolt, it survives the knocks a commuter bike takes at a rack, and any workshop in the country can weld it. A cracked aluminium frame is a replaced frame.

Three hundred and thirty one pounds carried
A hundred and fifty kilograms rated, above the middle of our range. Rider, panniers and a full shop are inside it.
Four to six hours to a full charge, and a colour LCD showing speed, assist level and remaining battery.

Before the first ride
It arrives largely built and it does not fold, so allow space for a full size bike.
- Fit the front wheel, handlebar and pedals
- Set the saddle to hip height
- Set the fork for your weight
- Check both discs and tyre pressure
- Charge to full once before you start commuting

The brakes are where the money was saved
Disc brakes at both ends, cable operated rather than hydraulic. They hold in the wet where rim brakes do not, and any shop can adjust them with an Allen key and a cheap set of pads.
On a sixty two pound city bike at 15.5 mph that is adequate, and it is the honest reason this bike costs five hundred and eighty nine pounds rather than eight hundred.
Buy it if you want big wheels, a damped fork and a real steel frame for under six hundred pounds, on roads and paths rather than trails.

- Yes. All electric bikes sold by BikTron are brand new, factory-sealed, and sourced directly from authorised manufacturers and official distributors.
- How do I choose the right electric bike for me?
- Pick a bike based on how you plan to ride. City bikes are great for commuting, folding bikes work well if you need compact storage, mountain bikes handle hills and mixed terrain, and cargo bikes are ideal for carrying shopping or loads. If you are not sure, our Bike Quiz can help.
- Are the batteries original and certified?
- Yes. Every electric bike battery is brand new and original from the manufacturer, with full safety certification and performance testing.
- Are the bikes tested before shipping?
- Yes. Each e-bike goes through a quality check before dispatch, covering electronics, brakes, motor response, and battery performance.
- Do electric bikes come with a warranty?
- Yes. All electric bikes from BikTron include a manufacturer warranty. Duration depends on the brand and model. Most bikes include a 12-month warranty as standard.
- How long does delivery take?
- Standard UK delivery usually takes 2 to 7 business days. Remote areas may take a little longer. You will receive a tracking link by email once your order is dispatched.
- Which payment methods do you accept?
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna buy-now-pay-later. All payments are processed securely.
- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
