Two sensors, not one
Cyrusher fits a torque sensor and a cadence sensor together.
A cadence sensor reads whether you are pedalling. A torque sensor reads how hard. Having both means the assistance follows your effort rather than switching in as a block, and it is the single thing that makes an electric bike ride like a bike.

Cyrusher publishes the battery weight separately at 8.6 lbs, so the bike is about 62 lbs without it. That is the useful figure when you are lifting it into a car.
Fifty-nine miles, and 800 charge cycles published
A 48V 15Ah pack of LG cells, with a claimed 95 km and seven to nine hours to charge.
Cyrusher also states 800 charge cycles, which almost no maker publishes. It is the order of magnitude of what the battery will do before it loses a noticeable part of its capacity, and it is checkable rather than a promise.
27.5-inch wheels with 2.6-inch tyres
Larger than a city wheel, narrower than a fat tyre.
That is the width that takes a pothole edge without costing the range a 4-inch tyre would. An adjustable stem lets you set the reach, which is the adjustment that decides back comfort on a daily ride.

Saddle 90 to 96 cm off the ground, standover 48 cm, total length 193 cm. Cyrusher sizes it for riders of 5 ft 7 in to 6 ft 7 in.
That is a tall bike with a short saddle range: six centimetres of adjustment is not much. Check the height band before you order rather than after.

- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
