Fifty two volts on a full suspension step-through frame
The Cyrusher Kommoda Pro is a step-through fat bike with suspension at both ends on a 52 volt system, claiming 68 miles, at £1,364 from £1,899.
Road legal at 250W: no licence, no tax, no insurance, nothing to register.
How it differs from the Kommoda 3.0
We list the Kommoda 3.0 at £1,089 on the same frame, the same air shock, the same 180 mm brakes and the same torque sensor.
The difference is the electrical system: this one runs 52 volts against 48, on a twenty amp hour pack either way. Higher voltage moves the same power at lower current, which means less heat in the controller and less sag when the motor is working hard. If you ride hills or carry weight, that is what the extra two hundred and seventy five pounds buys. If you ride flat ground, the 3.0 is the same bike.
A 42 cm step over
As low as anything we list, level with the Aura. You step on rather than swing a leg over the back of a loaded rack.

An air shock at the back, an adjustable fork at the front
A 165 mm air shock tuned with a pump rather than a factory coil, and an oil and spring fork with adjustment.
Both ends set to your weight. On a step-through frame carrying 350 pounds, suspension that is actually tuned is what keeps the ride composed rather than merely soft.
A torque sensor
A torque sensor rather than the cadence sensor almost everything at this price uses. It measures how hard you are pushing and scales the motor to match.
Press gently on the flat and you get a little; stand on the pedals for a climb and it gives you everything. On an eighty six pound bike that is the difference between help and a switch.
One hundred and eighty millimetre hydraulic brakes
Fully hydraulic with 180 mm rotors front and rear, which is a larger disc than most bikes at this price fit even at the front.
More leverage and more surface to shed heat, so they hold on a long descent instead of fading.
Three hundred and fifty pounds carried
Higher than eighty four per cent of our range, on a frame built to be stepped onto rather than climbed onto. Rider, panniers, a child seat and shopping are all inside it.
Cyrusher size it for riders between 155 cm and 195 cm, which is 5ft 1in to 6ft 3in.
CST puncture resistant tyres and stainless spokes
CST 20 by 4 inch puncture resistant fat tyres, twelve gauge stainless steel spokes and a KMC stainless chain.
Those are the three parts that fail first on a heavy bike left outside, and all three are specified against that rather than to a price.
Six to seven hours on charge
A 3 amp charger on a twenty amp hour pack, rated for 800 full cycles. At two charges a week that is eight years of cycles.
Top it up rather than running it flat and it will take longer than that to use up.

You wheel it rather than carry it, and stairs at both ends of a commute would be miserable. A ground floor hallway, a shed or a garage is what it wants.
Buy it if getting on and off easily matters and you will not give up the suspension, the range or the load capacity to get it, and you want the 52 volt system underneath all of it.

- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
