The Cyrusher Ranger 2.0 is the best equipped bike we sell: 95 Nm from a Bafang motor on a 52 volt system, with four piston hydraulic brakes, at £2,264 from £2,799.
Road legal at 250W: no licence, no tax, no insurance, nothing to register.
Ninety five newton metres from a hub motor
It comes from a Bafang rear hub rather than a house brand motor, and torque rather than wattage is what you feel on a climb, on a hill start, or pulling out of a rut with a loaded bike.
A handful of bikes in our range quote a higher figure, and every one of them is a mid-drive, where the number is measured at the pedals and then multiplied again through the gears. Between two hub motors the comparison is direct, and at the legal 250 watts this is as much as we sell.
Four piston Tektro brakes
Tektro HD-E3940 calipers with four pistons. Almost everything else we sell uses two.
Four pistons spread the pad more evenly and give far more braking for the same lever effort, which is what you want on an eighty seven pound bike descending on loose ground. These are the brakes a mountain bike costing this much should have, and they are the ones fitted.
A dual crown fork with lockout, and a DNM air shock
The fork is dual crown, braced above and below the head tube the way a downhill fork is, with 60 mm of travel and a lockout so it stops absorbing your pedalling on smooth ground.
The rear is a DNM AO-38RC air shock, 190 by 50 mm, tuned with a pump rather than accepting a factory spring.
Both ends adjust to your weight. That is the difference between suspension that works and suspension that is merely present.
Nine gears, not seven
A Shimano nine speed rather than the seven that almost everything at any price in this catalogue uses.
The motor stops assisting at 15.5 mph, so above that speed the gearing is all you have. Nine ratios means the gap between gears is smaller and you are never stuck pedalling between two of them.
Seventy five miles, from Samsung era cells rated 800 charges
A 52 volt twenty amp hour pack inside the frame, rated for 800 full cycles, quoted at 120 km.
Fifty two volts moves the same power at lower current, so less heat and less sag on a long climb. Seventy five miles is longer than eighty five per cent of our catalogue, and doing it on four inch tyres takes a large pack because wide tyres are not efficient.

Twenty six inch Kenda fat tyres, puncture resistant
Twenty six by four inches, from a named tyre maker, with puncture resistant casings and twelve gauge stainless spokes.

A twenty watt headlight with a horn built into it
Not a token LED. Twenty watts is a light to ride by on an unlit track rather than a light to be seen by, and the horn is integrated into the same unit.
A 3.7 inch colour display handles speed, assist level and charge.
A torque sensor
Cyrusher fit a torque sensor rather than a cadence sensor. It measures how hard you press and scales the motor to match, so the assistance arrives in proportion to your effort instead of as a switch.
On a bike with 95 newton metres available, that proportionality is what keeps it controllable.
Before the first ride
Five to seven hours to a full charge, and it arrives largely assembled.

It is sized for riders from about 5ft 7in to 6ft 6in, and at eighty seven pounds it is a bike you wheel rather than carry. It is also the most expensive bike in this part of our range by nine hundred pounds.
Buy it if you ride real terrain and the brakes, the fork and the gearing being genuinely good matters more to you than the price. Every one of those three is a class above the rest of what we sell.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
