Eleven to eighteen miles, and Hidoes says so plainly
Hidoes publishes 18 to 28 km on the throttle alone, from a 36V 10.4Ah pack.
Our table carries eleven miles, the bottom of that range. This is a last-mile bike: station to office, car park to town centre. If you need to ride forty miles, this is not the bike and we would rather say so than sell it to you.
14-inch wheels, and what that means
Fourteen inches is what buys the folded size, and it costs something.
A small wheel drops into a pothole instead of rolling over it, and it makes the steering quick. On smooth city tarmac that is fine; on broken paving it is uncomfortable. Buy it knowing that.
An iron and aluminium frame
Hidoes names both: steel where strength is needed, aluminium where weight is.
Steel bends before it breaks, which is what matters at a folding hinge, and it damps vibration better than aluminium. It does rust, so keep it dry and watch for deep scratches.
Hidoes publishes the charger, right down to its output
Input 200 to 240V, output 42V at 1.5A, six to eight hours for a full charge.
Almost no sheet in this catalogue goes that far. It is a small thing, but a maker who publishes the charger spec is unlikely to be inventing the rest.

It arrives folded, in a box 79 × 36 × 59 cm weighing 29 kg for a 23 kg bike. Hidoes does not publish a torque figure and that row stays empty below.

- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
