The Hidoes B6 Cruiser runs a 1200W motor, nearly five times the UK road limit. We sell it for private land only: ground you own, or ground where you have the owner's permission.
Not a road, not a pavement, not a cycle path. That is the fact that decides this purchase, so it goes first.
A cruiser shape, not a scooter
The web address of this page says scooter. It is not one: it is a bicycle with pedals, a chain and a seven-speed Shimano drivetrain, built in a low, long cruiser shape.
We would rather correct our own URL in front of you than let it set the wrong expectation.
Dual shock absorbers
Suspension at both ends rather than a fork alone, which on a heavy machine over rough ground keeps the back wheel on the ground instead of skipping off it.
Combined with four-inch tyres it is the reason this shrugs off a surface that would have you off a rigid bike.
Fat tyres for snow, sand and everything between
Twenty-inch wheels with four-inch tyres, run at low pressure. Hidoes specify them for all-terrain use, and the width is what makes soft ground passable rather than a struggle.
They cost you range on tarmac, which on private land matters less than it would on a commute.
Seven gears, so the motor is not doing it alone
A Shimano seven-speed drivetrain. On a machine with this much power the gears matter most when the battery is low and you still have to get back.

Three figures the manufacturer did not give
Hidoes did not state a weight, a frame material or a maximum load for this model, so we do not print any of them. The table below leaves those rows out rather than filling them with estimates.
The supplier is also unspecific about the brakes, listing them as mechanical or hydraulic depending on the build. We record what we can stand behind, which is that they are discs. If any of this decides your purchase, ask us and we will check the unit we hold before it ships.
You cannot ride this on the road
A motor nearly five times the legal limit is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle in the UK, and the cruiser styling does not make it a moped either: no registration, no type approval, no number plate.
It cannot be ridden on a public road, a pavement or a cycle path. If you have the ground, it is a great deal of machine for the money. If you do not, it is the wrong purchase and our 250W range is the right shelf.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
