Private Land Use Only.
Not for public roads, pavements or cycle paths. Its motor and assisted top speed are above the UK EAPC limits of 250W and 15.5 mph, which makes it a motor vehicle in law. It would need registration, insurance and a licence. Ride it on private land.

The manufacturer's figures, not ours.
This one carries 1,200 Wh of battery. The maker quotes 50 mi; in mixed riding with some hills, expect nearer 38 mi. A full charge costs about £0.33. Across a year that is roughly £975.00 less than making the same journeys by car, so the bike pays for itself in about 26 months. Everything here is worked out from this bike's own specification. Estimates, not promises: the assumptions are printed underneath.

Twelve hundred watt hours of LG cells, and a moped approval
The Fafrees F20 Ultra HS carries a 1,200 Wh LG battery, makes 79 Nm with 1200 watts of peak power, and is type approved in the EU as an L1e-B, at £2,064.
At 750W and 45 km/h it sits outside the UK cycle rules, so we sell it for private use on private land. Please read the panel above before you order.

What the L1e-B approval does and does not mean
L1e-B is a European moped category. It means the machine was type approved as a vehicle rather than sold as a bicycle, and that its lighting and construction were tested to that standard.
It does not make it an electrically assisted pedal cycle in the UK, where the limit is 250W and 15.5 mph. Using it on a UK road would mean registering it, taxing it, insuring it and holding the licence the category requires. We sell it for your own property or land where you have permission.

Twelve hundred watt hours
Forty eight volts and twenty five amp hours of LG cells, higher capacity than ninety per cent of our catalogue, at 5.5 kg and removable.
Fafrees quote 80 to 100 km. Eight hours to a full charge on the supplied three amp charger, so this is an overnight machine.
The panel below turns the capacity into energy per mile and gives you the bands.

A hydraulic fork with a hundred millimetres and a lockout
Hydraulically damped rather than plain sprung, with real travel and a lockout to switch it off on smooth ground.
On an eighty eight pound machine at 45 km/h, a fork that actually damps rather than just compresses is the difference between holding a line and being bounced off one.

The riding position does not adjust
Fafrees give the saddle height as 84 cm minimum and 84 cm maximum, with the handlebar fixed at 111 cm.
That is a set riding position rather than an adjustable one, which is another way this is more moped than bicycle. Check it against your leg before you order, because there is nothing to change afterwards.

Seventy nine newton metres and 1200 watts of peak
Rated at 750W sustained with 1200 available at peak.
- Real acceleration rather than a gentle nudge
- A hill start with a load that does not stall
- Speed held on a long incline instead of fading
- A 74.5 cm wide machine that stays planted while it does it

Two hundred and eighty seven pounds carried
A hundred and thirty kilograms, which is middling for our catalogue and modest for a machine of this weight and power.
Check it against your own weight plus anything you carry. On a machine this capable, the payload is the limit people least expect to meet.

Brake lights, IPX5, and a colour screen
Front and rear lights with brake lights, an IPX5 rating, and a 3.5 inch backlit IPS colour display rated IP65.
An IPS panel stays readable in daylight and at an angle rather than washing out, which on a machine ridden at 45 km/h matters more than it sounds.

Before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled and at eighty eight pounds it is a two person unpack.
- Check every fastener before the first ride and again after the first hour
- Bed the brakes in at walking pace before using the power
- Set tyre pressure on both twenty inch tyres
- Try the fork lockout both ways so you know which is which
- Charge to full before the first long ride

The brakes are a mixed pair, and who should not buy it
Fafrees describe the brakes as hydraulic and mechanical, which means one of each rather than a matched pair. On a machine at this speed and weight we would rather they were both hydraulic, and it is the first upgrade worth making.
It is not for public roads, it is not adjustable, and it is not a first electric machine. Buy it if you have land, you want twelve hundred watt hours and a hundred millimetre damped fork, and the fixed riding position suits you.

- How do I choose the right electric bike for me?
- Pick a bike based on how you plan to ride. City bikes are great for commuting, folding bikes work well if you need compact storage, mountain bikes handle hills and mixed terrain, and cargo bikes are ideal for carrying shopping or loads. If you are not sure, our Bike Quiz can help.
- Are the batteries original and certified?
- Yes. Every electric bike battery is brand new and original from the manufacturer, with full safety certification and performance testing.
- Are the bikes tested before shipping?
- Yes. Each e-bike goes through a quality check before dispatch, covering electronics, brakes, motor response, and battery performance.
- Do electric bikes come with a warranty?
- Yes. All electric bikes from BikTron include a manufacturer warranty. Duration depends on the brand and model. Most bikes include a 12-month warranty as standard.
- How long does delivery take?
- Standard UK delivery usually takes 2 to 7 business days. Remote areas may take a little longer. You will receive a tracking link by email once your order is dispatched.
- Which payment methods do you accept?
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna buy-now-pay-later. All payments are processed securely.

- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
