Its compact 20-inch wheels and lightweight aluminium frame make it easy to carry onto a train, tuck under a desk, or store in a hallway cupboard. With a 250W motor and up to 53 miles of range, it turns daily errands and weekend rides into effortless fun.
Responsive power for everyday riding
The Sonder’s 250W brushless rear hub motor delivers smooth, natural assistance up to 15 mph, which is the legal limit for e-bikes on UK roads. A torque sensor reads how hard you pedal and adjusts power instantly, so you feel in control whether you’re pulling away from traffic lights or climbing a gentle hill. The Shimano 9-speed drivetrain lets you fine-tune your effort for any route.
Go further on a single charge
The removable 48V 10Ah battery gives the Sonder a range of up to 53 miles, depending on terrain, rider weight, and assist level. You can charge it on or off the bike in 5–7 hours, and it’s designed to last for around 800 full charges. That means fewer plug-ins and more time riding through town or along the seafront.
A smoother ride on any surface
Front oil and spring suspension, plus rear suspension, soak up bumps from potholes and cobbles, so you arrive without the jolts. The 20-inch Chaoyang puncture-proof tyres add another layer of comfort and reduce the risk of a flat on your commute. A breathable ergonomic saddle and adjustable seat post help you find a position that feels right for rides of any length.
Confident stopping in all weather
Fully hydraulic disc brakes give the Sonder strong, predictable stopping power, even in the rain. The integrated rear LED light makes you more visible to traffic after dark, and the folding buckle is designed to stay locked while riding. A steering lock with double screws keeps the handlebar secure, so you can focus on the road ahead.
Clear information at a glance
The colourful smart display shows your speed, battery level, and assist mode, and it stays readable even in bright sunlight. Buttons on the controller let you change settings without taking your hands off the grips. Whether you’re checking your remaining range or switching assist levels, everything is right where you need it.
Built to fold, made to last
The Sonder’s 6061 aluminium alloy frame houses the battery internally for a clean look and better protection. It folds down small enough to fit in a car boot or a train luggage rack, and at 49 lbs it’s manageable to lift when needed. With a payload capacity of 265 lbs and a rider height range from 4’9” to 5’9”, it’s ready for a wide range of riders.
