The cheapest full-size bike on our shelf
The AAIRSK GT300 is the least expensive way into a twenty-six inch electric bike here. Of the thirty-three full-size bikes we stock, none costs less, and it undercuts ninety-three percent of the catalogue.
It is road legal at 250W, so there is no licence, no tax and no insurance to arrange.
It rides like the bike you already know
Big wheels and an upright position make this immediately familiar. Nothing about the geometry is unusual and nothing needs learning.
At low speed in traffic that matters more than any specification: the bike does exactly what you expect when you put a foot down.
The motor flattens the hill, you do the rest
Two hundred and fifty watts is a helping hand rather than a replacement for pedalling. It takes the sting out of a climb and shortens a headwind, and you still arrive having ridden.
Assistance stops at the legal limit. Past that the gears are yours.
Disc brakes, which is not a given at this price
Plenty of bikes at five hundred pounds still use rim brakes, and rim brakes lose much of their bite in the wet. These are discs front and rear.
They are cable-operated rather than hydraulic, so you can adjust them yourself with one Allen key and a set of pads costs a few pounds anywhere.
An evening on charge
From empty it fills in about five hours, so plugging in when you get home is the whole routine.

It arrives mostly built. Allow twenty minutes and the tool that comes with it.
- Fit the front wheel, handlebar and pedals
- Set the saddle so your leg is nearly straight at the bottom of the stroke
- Check both brakes and the tyre pressure
- Charge to full once before you start using it

This has the shortest range of anything on our shelf, and range figures are measured in ideal conditions. In winter, into a headwind, or with the assistance turned up, expect considerably less. The bands in the table below are the honest version.
If your round trip is long or hilly, spend more and buy a bigger battery. Buying this one and charging it twice a day is a worse deal than buying the next bike up, and we would rather say so now than have it come back.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.

Really solid bike for the price. Comfortable enough for my short trips and the brakes feel reassuring. No complaints so far.
Bought this for getting to work and back and it's transformed my commute. The 7 gears make the hills easy and the motor gives just enough push without feeling out of control. Well worth the money.
