A thousand watts, for private ground
The Vitilan T7 Pro runs a 52-volt system with a 1000W motor and a 1040Wh Samsung pack. Its motor and its speed are both well beyond UK road law, so we sell it for private land only: ground you own, or ground where you have permission.
Not a road, not a pavement, not a cycle path. That decides the purchase, so it goes first.
A kilowatt-hour of battery
Twenty amp-hours at fifty-two volts is a little over a kilowatt-hour, and the cells are Samsung. Cell quality is the part of a battery nobody can see and the part that decides whether it is still good in year three.
The pack is integrated into the frame and lockable, so it is neither exposed nor easily walked away with.
Air suspension, not a spring
The fork is an air unit with a hundred and five millimetres of travel. Air forks can be tuned to the rider's weight by adding or releasing pressure, where a spring fork is whatever the factory chose.
On a heavy machine ridden over rough ground, that adjustment is the difference between suspension that works for you and suspension that works for someone else.
Tektro hydraulic brakes on 180mm rotors
Named brakes on large rotors, front and rear. Hydraulics do not fade on a long descent and do not lose their bite when everything is wet and gritty.
On a machine this heavy and this quick, cable brakes would be the part you thought about at the top of every hill.
Four-inch tyres, built not to puncture
CST four-inch tyres with puncture resistance, on thirty-six spoke aluminium rims. Wide tyres at low pressure make sand, mud, wet grass and loose gravel ordinary rather than a fight.
The puncture layer matters more here than on a light bike: changing a tube on a thirty-eight kilo machine in a field is not a job anyone wants twice.
Eight gears and a half-twist throttle
A Shimano eight-speed drivetrain with a fifty-three tooth chainring, and a throttle for when you would rather not pedal at all.
Assistance has five levels on a cadence sensor, so the help arrives when the pedals turn rather than in proportion to how hard you push.
Eighty percent in four hours
The charger takes the pack to eighty percent in about four hours and fills it in six. On a battery this size that is quick.
The panel below turns the capacity into energy and into what a charge costs at the socket. For over a kilowatt-hour, the answer is still small.
It fits tall riders, and carries a load
Vitilan quote the frame for riders from roughly five foot four to six foot eight, which is a wider range than almost anything else here, and the rated payload leaves real headroom above an adult rider with a pack.
The electronics are sealed to IPX6, which is the rating for a machine that will be hosed down rather than wiped.
What to do before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled and it is heavy: get a second pair of hands for the unboxing.
- Fit the front wheel, handlebar and pedals
- Set the air fork pressure to your weight before you ride it, not after
- Bed the hydraulic brakes in at walking pace before using the power
- Confirm you have somewhere private and lawful to ride it
- Charge to full once before the first session
You cannot ride this on the road
The motor is four times the UK limit and the unrestricted speed is more than double the assisted limit. This is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle under any reading of the law, and it cannot be ridden on a public road, a pavement or a cycle path.
It is also heavy and expensive. If you have the land, it is one of the most complete machines we stock: named brakes, air suspension, a kilowatt-hour of Samsung cells. If you do not have the land, none of that helps you, and we would rather point you at our 250W range.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
