Private Land Use Only.
Not for public roads, pavements or cycle paths. Its motor and assisted top speed are above the UK EAPC limits of 250W and 15.5 mph, which makes it a motor vehicle in law. It would need registration, insurance and a licence. Ride it on private land.
See UK LegislationThis one carries 1,300 Wh of battery. The maker quotes 57 mi; in mixed riding with some hills, expect nearer 43 mi. A full charge costs about £0.36. Across a year that is roughly £976.00 less than making the same journeys by car, so the bike pays for itself in about 19 months. Everything here is worked out from this bike's own specification. Estimates, not promises: the assumptions are printed underneath.

Based on £0.245 per kWh, £0.45 per mile to run a small car, and 2,200 miles a year. Charging is costed at the socket, not at the battery.
Two thousand watts on a fifty-two volt system
The Vitilan H5 runs a 52-volt system with a 2000W motor and one of the largest batteries we stock. Its motor is eight times the UK road limit, so we sell it for private land only: ground you own, or ground where you have the owner's permission.
Not a road, not a pavement, not a cycle path. That is the fact that decides this purchase.

Fifty-two volts, not forty-eight
A higher system voltage moves the same power at lower current, which means less heat in the controller and the wiring and less voltage sag when the motor is working hard.
On a machine asked to pull two kilowatts up a bank, that is the difference between sustained power and a motor that backs off when it gets warm.

Twenty-five amp-hours, in the top tenth of our range
A large pack, and a necessary one: a 2000W motor asked to work hard empties a small battery in minutes rather than hours.
The panel below turns the capacity into energy and into what a charge costs at the socket. Even at this size the answer is measured in pennies.

Twenty-four inch wheels, between two sizes
Larger than the twenty-inch wheels most fat bikes use, smaller than a full-size twenty-six. It keeps the standover height manageable while still rolling over ruts rather than into them.
On open ground that middle size holds speed better than a small wheel and turns more willingly than a large one.

Hydraulic brakes, which this machine needs
Hydraulic discs front and rear. At eighty-three pounds and this much power, cable brakes would fade on the first long descent and lose their bite as soon as the tracks were wet.
One finger is enough, and they keep working when the pads are hot.

Seventy-five newton metres, where the ground gives way
Torque is what keeps the wheel turning on wet grass, deep gravel or a steep bank. A smaller motor spins and stops; this one digs in.
It is not about top speed. It is about not having to walk back down.

Aluminium, and still heavy
The frame is aluminium, which is the only reason a machine carrying this battery and these tyres is not heavier still.
It also will not rust, which matters on something that lives outdoors and gets hosed rather than wiped.

Nine hours to fill
A very large pack on a standard charger. This is an overnight charge, not something you fit between two sessions.
Plan around it: charge after use rather than before, and it will always be ready.

What to do before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled and it is heavy: get a second pair of hands for the unboxing.
- Fit the front wheel, handlebar and pedals
- Bed the hydraulic brakes in at walking pace before using the power
- Set tyre pressure low for soft ground, higher for hard-packed
- Confirm you have somewhere private and lawful to ride it
- Charge to full once before the first session

One figure the manufacturer did not give
Vitilan did not state a maximum load for this model, so we do not print one. The table below leaves that row out rather than filling it with an estimate.
If your weight plus a loaded pack is near the limit of what a bike this size usually carries, ask us before you order rather than after.

You cannot ride this on the road
A motor eight times the legal limit is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle under any reading of UK law. It cannot be ridden on a public road, a pavement or a cycle path.
It is also the most expensive private-land machine on this page and it takes a night to charge. If you have the ground and you want sustained power rather than a burst of it, the fifty-two volt system is what you are paying for. If you do not have the ground, buy a 250W bike from us instead.

- Which payment methods do you accept?
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna buy-now-pay-later. All payments are processed securely.

- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
