The VIPCOO VS6 Pro runs two 1200W motors on a 52 volt system, unlocks with an NFC card, and reaches 37 mph, at £739.
It is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle, so we sell it for private use on private land. Please read the panel above before you order.
Where you can and cannot ride it
A privately owned electric scooter cannot legally be used on a public road, pavement or cycle path in the UK. That is true of every scooter sold anywhere, at any power, and it is not a question of how fast you go.
This one is sold for your own property, or land where the owner has given you permission.
A motor in each wheel
Not one large motor: two of 1200 watts each, on a 52 volt system.
- Traction from both ends on gravel, grass and mud
- The front wheel pulls you through a rut instead of ploughing into it
- Climbing where a single rear motor would spin
- Half the load on each motor, so neither works as hard
Fifty two volts also means less heat and less sag under load than the 48 volt systems most scooters use.
NFC unlocking
Tap a card to unlock it. No key, no code, and nothing for someone else to simply switch on and ride away.
On a machine kept in a shed or a yard, that is a real deterrent rather than a convenience, and very little at this price has it.
Vacuum tyres, which is the specification nobody explains
Ten inch vacuum off-road tyres: tubeless, with the tyre sealing against the rim rather than against an inner tube.
A thorn or a nail becomes a slow leak instead of an instant flat, and the tyre can be run at lower pressure without pinching. On a machine doing 37 mph, a sudden deflation is the failure that matters most, and this is the arrangement that makes it least likely.
A thousand and eighty watt hours
Fifty two volts and 20.8 amp hours, higher capacity than eighty five per cent of our catalogue, quoted at 50 to 65 km.
At 2400 watts that falls away quickly. Nine to ten hours to fill on the supplied two amp charger, so treat it as an overnight machine.

Lights on every side
Front LED headlights, side light strips, turn signals and tail lights.
Side lighting is the part most machines leave out entirely. On shared private ground at dusk it is what makes you visible from an angle rather than only from directly behind.
Sixty eight pounds, and it folds
Thirty one kilograms, middling for our catalogue, on an aluminium and iron frame with spring shocks at both ends.
Foldable, which at this weight is about getting it into a van rather than carrying it anywhere.
Before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled and folded.

- Start on the lowest setting in single drive until the machine is familiar

Who should not buy it
Anyone without land, and anyone near the 265 pound payload, which is lower than ninety six per cent of our catalogue. IPX4 also means rain and puddles rather than a jet wash.
The brakes are discs rather than discs with electronic assistance, and at 37 mph that is the one place on this sheet we would want more.
Buy it for the two motors, the tubeless tyres and the NFC lock. At seven hundred and thirty nine pounds that combination is unusual.

- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
