Two motors of twelve hundred watts each
The IENYRID ES1 has a 1200W motor in each wheel, 2400W together, with a 48 volt 20.8 amp hour battery, at £789.
It reaches 37 mph and is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle, so we sell it for private use on private land. Please read the panel above before you order.
Where you can and cannot ride it
A privately owned electric scooter cannot legally be used on a public road, pavement or cycle path in the UK. That is true of every scooter sold anywhere, at any power, and it is not a question of speed.
This one is sold for your own property, or land where the owner has given you permission.
A motor in each wheel is all wheel drive
Not one big motor: two of twelve hundred watts, one front and one rear.
- Traction from both ends on gravel, mud and wet grass
- The front wheel pulls you through a rut instead of ploughing into it
- Climbing where a single rear motor would spin
- Half the load on each motor, so neither works as hard
On loose ground, two motors is a different machine from one motor twice as strong.
Speed in a range, not a single number
IENYRID quote 15.5 to 37 mph, which is the machine telling you it has settings rather than one speed.
Start at the bottom of that range and stay there until you know it. Thirty seven miles an hour on ten inch wheels is a great deal faster than it sounds from a standstill.
Twenty point eight amp hours
A 48 volt pack, higher capacity than eighty five per cent of our catalogue, filling in six to eight hours on the supplied two amp charger.
Thirty one to thirty seven miles claimed. At 2400 watts that figure falls away quickly, which is the honest arithmetic of any dual motor machine.

Air tyres, and why they matter here
Ten inch pneumatic tyres rather than solid ones.
Solid tyres never puncture and transmit every edge straight into you. Air tyres do the opposite, and on rough ground at speed that is the trade worth making. A puncture is a repair; a jarred spine is not.
Lights on three sides
Front LED headlights, side lights and tail lights, with a colour display.
Side lighting is the part most machines leave out, and on shared private ground at dusk it is what makes you visible from an angle rather than only from behind.
Before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled at sixty six pounds.

The load limit is lower than you would expect
Two hundred and sixty five pounds, a hundred and twenty kilograms, which is lower than ninety six per cent of our catalogue and modest for a machine with this much power.
Check it against your own weight plus anything you carry. On a dual motor scooter the payload is the limit people least expect to meet.
Who should not buy it
Anyone without land. Anyone buying a first scooter. Anyone near the 265 pound limit.
Buy it if you have ground and you want genuine all wheel drive traction rather than a single motor with a big number on it. At seven hundred and eighty nine pounds, two motors and twenty amp hours is a lot of machine.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
