The iScooter iX7Pro runs dual wheel drive with 2000W, tubeless off-road tyres and an 840 Wh battery, at £789.
It is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle, so we sell it for private use on private land. Please read the panel above before you order.
Where you can and cannot ride it
A privately owned electric scooter cannot legally be used on a public road, pavement or cycle path in the UK. That is true of every scooter sold anywhere, at any power, and it is not a question of how fast you go.
This one is sold for your own property, or land where the owner has given you permission. Thirty eight miles an hour on ten inch wheels asks for a rider who already knows what that feels like.
Tubeless tyres are the specification nobody advertises
No inner tube. A thorn or a nail seals around itself instead of causing an instant flat, and the tyre can be run at lower pressure without pinching.
- A puncture becomes a slow leak rather than a stop
- Lower pressure means more grip on loose ground
- No tube to pinch against the rim over a kerb
- And nothing solid transmitting every edge into your hands
Two drive modes, and eight speed settings
iScooter give separate speed steps for each: rear wheel drive at 12, 18, 25 and 31 mph, dual wheel drive at 9, 18, 28 and 38.
Rear wheel drive alone is the efficient setting for a long flat run. Dual wheel drive is for loose ground and climbs, where having both wheels pulling matters more than the range you spend doing it.
Start at the bottom of either set and work up.
Eight hundred and forty watt hours
Forty eight volts and 17.5 amp hours, with a smart battery management system, filling in seven to nine hours.
Fifty miles claimed. At two thousand watts that falls away fast, and no maker prints the figure for riding it hard.
The panel below does the arithmetic so you can see it rather than take it.
A magnesium alloy frame
Magnesium rather than aluminium: lighter for the same stiffness, which is how a 2000W machine with an 840 watt hour battery comes in at sixty five pounds.
It also folds in three steps to 122 by 22 by 57 centimetres, so one person can get it into a car boot.
Lights on every side, and a flashing brake light
Front and rear LEDs, indicators, ambient lighting, and a red brake light that flashes rather than simply lighting.
A flashing brake light is noticed a good deal sooner than a steady one, and on shared private ground at 38 mph that margin is the point.
Disc and electronic brakes at both ends
Not one of each: a disc plus an electronic brake on both wheels.
The electronic brakes take the everyday slowing and wear nothing; the discs are there for the stop that matters. At this speed and this weight, having all four working together is the correct specification rather than a luxury.
Before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled and folded. iScooter give a minimum rider age of 14.

Who should not buy it
Anyone without land. Anyone buying a first scooter. IPX4 also means rain and puddles rather than a jet wash, so it is not a machine to hose down.
Buy it if you have ground and you want two thousand watts with tubeless tyres and brakes at both ends for under eight hundred pounds. Of the four iScooters we list, this is the fast one.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
