Quad suspension on a seven hundred watt scooter
The IENYRID S1 has suspension at four points, ten inch off-road tyres and a 48 volt fifteen amp hour battery, at £505.
It is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle, so we sell it for private use on private land. Please read the panel above before you order.
Where you can and cannot ride it
A privately owned electric scooter cannot legally be used on a public road, pavement or cycle path in the UK, at any power.
This one is sold for your own property, or land where the owner has given you permission.
Four points of suspension
A scooter has no saddle, so the suspension is the only thing between you and the ground.
- Four damping points rather than the usual two
- Ten inch pneumatic off-road tyres on top of that
- The difference between rough ground being tolerable and being punishing
- And the reason a sixty six pound machine still rides well
IENYRID's own sheet disagrees with itself, and we are telling you so
Their specification lists a 27 amp hour battery and a range of 74 to 87 miles. Their own question and answer section on the same page says 48V 15Ah and 30 to 40 km. Their speed row reads 6.2, 9.3 and 12.4 mph while the same page claims 45 km/h.
Those cannot all describe one machine. Our table carries the conservative figures throughout: fifteen amp hours, twenty five miles, and a 265 pound rider limit rather than the 150 kg the specification row claims.
We would rather under-promise from a contradictory sheet than pick the flattering half of it, and we would rather tell you that is what we did.
What we can stand behind
The figures both halves of their page agree on, and the ones that match the machine as delivered:
Seven hundred watts, ten inch off-road air tyres, an aluminium alloy frame, thirty kilograms, IP54 for water, and a folded size of 120.8 by 24 by 55 centimetres.
IP54, and what it covers
Dust protected and rated against splashing water from any direction. That is rain and puddles rather than a jet wash or a stream crossing.
A stated rating tells you where the limit is, which is more use than a claim that it is weatherproof.
Sixty six pounds, and a folded height of twenty four centimetres
Thirty kilograms, which is middling for our catalogue, folding flat to twenty four centimetres wide.
That is a machine one person can get into a car boot, which is how most of these reach the ground they are ridden on.
Before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled and folded.
- Check every fastener on the stem and the folding latch before the first ride, and again after the first hour
- Learn the brakes at walking pace before using the power
- Set tyre pressure on both wheels
- Start on the lowest speed setting until it is familiar
- Charge to full before the first ride
Two rows the table leaves blank
There is no brake type and no charging time in our table, because the supplier's sheet does not state either in a form we could store, and we are not going to invent them.
The brake type in particular is worth knowing before you buy a scooter. Ask us and we will chase IENYRID for it rather than guess.
Who should not buy it
Anyone without land, anyone over a hundred and twenty kilograms, and anyone who needs a specification sheet they can rely on line by line, because this one cannot be.
Buy it for the suspension. Four damping points at five hundred and five pounds is genuinely unusual, and it is the part of this machine that every version of the sheet agrees on.

- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
