Its motor output and assisted top speed exceed the legal limits set by the UK Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) regulations, which cap electric bikes at 250W motor power and 15.5 mph (25 km/h). Because this bike exceeds both thresholds, it is classified as a motor vehicle and would require registration, insurance, and a valid licence to use on public roads. This bike is designed exclusively for use on private land such as farms, estates, and off-road tracks where road traffic law does not apply.

The U3’s 250W brushless rear hub motor delivers smooth, efficient assistance with a 500W peak output. It’s tuned for UK riding, helping you accelerate from lights and tackle gentle hills without breaking a sweat. Pedal assist and throttle modes let you choose how much effort to put in.
Go further on a single charge
A 36V 7.8Ah lithium battery gives you up to 35 miles of assisted riding. The IP65 waterproof rating means light rain won’t stop you, and a full charge takes just 2–3 hours. With a lifetime of 800 charges, it’s ready for years of daily use.
Comfort that lasts the whole ride
The U3 pairs a front suspension fork with a breathable ergonomic saddle to smooth out rough roads. Adjustable handlebars and seat post let riders from 5′1″ to 6′1″ find a natural upright position. The 16 × 1.75″ pneumatic tyres add extra cushioning on potholed streets.
Stop confidently in any weather
Hydraulic 160mm disc brakes front and rear give you strong, controlled stopping power. The LED headlight (111 lumens) and taillight keep you visible on dark mornings and evening commutes. Ride with confidence, even when the British weather turns.
Clear controls at a glance
The 6.5 × 4.7 cm LCD display shows speed, battery level and assist mode. Throttle modes let you set a maximum of 6.2, 9.3, 15.5 or 18.6 mph. Everything is within thumb’s reach, so you can focus on the road.
Folds small, rides big
The alloy steel frame folds in seconds with no tools, shrinking to 55.9 × 22 × 37 inches for storage. It weighs 51 lbs and carries up to 265 lbs, so it’s sturdy yet portable. In the box you’ll find the U3 e-bike, charger, pedals and user manual.
