The isinwheel GT2 is an off-road scooter with four coil spring shocks, 1200 watts of peak power and an IP65 rating, at £610.
It reaches 28 mph and is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle, so we sell it for private use on private land. Please read the panel above before you order.
Where you can and cannot ride it
Private hire scooters aside, a privately owned electric scooter cannot legally be used on a public road, pavement or cycle path in the UK. That is true of every scooter, at any power.
This one is sold for your own property, or land where the owner has given you permission. We would rather say that on the first screen than leave you to find out from someone else.
Four shocks, not two
Coil springs at each corner rather than a fork and a single rear unit.
On eleven inch wheels at speed, the suspension is the only thing between you and the surface, and a scooter has no saddle to take the rest. Four points of damping is what makes rough ground tolerable rather than merely survivable.
Thirty five degrees of climb
A stated gradeability of thirty five degrees, which is a slope of about one in one and a half.
That is steeper than most machines will attempt, and isinwheel commit it to paper rather than describing the motor as powerful. A number you can check beats an adjective.
Three speeds, and three more behind them
The gears run 10, 15 and 25 km/h as delivered, with an override set at 15, 30 and 45.

IP65, which is a level above most
Dust tight and protected against water jets from any direction, rather than the IPX4 splash rating most scooters quote.
On a machine ridden through mud and hosed down afterwards, that difference is the one that decides how long the electronics last.
Thirty one to thirty seven miles
Fifty to sixty kilometres in eco mode from a 48 volt fifteen amp hour pack, with lights, ambient lighting and turn signals running off it.
Seven to nine hours to fill from empty on the supplied two amp charger, so this is an overnight machine.

Disc and electronic braking together
A mechanical disc plus an electronic brake through the motor.
The electronic brake slows you without wearing anything and takes the everyday work; the disc is there for the stop that matters. Together they last a great deal longer than a disc doing all of it.
What isinwheel did not publish
There is no rated power, only a 1200 watt peak. There is no weight and no maximum load either, so the table below leaves all three rows out rather than filling them in.
The load rating is the one that matters, and we would rather say we do not have it than print a number. Ask us before you order and we will chase the supplier for it.
Who should not buy it
Anyone without land. Anyone who wants to commute on it. Anyone who has not ridden a fast scooter before, because eleven inch wheels at 28 mph are less forgiving than a bicycle at the same speed.
Buy it if you have ground, you want suspension at four corners and an IP65 rating, and six hundred and ten pounds is what you have to spend on it.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
