The Emoko C93 is one of the most powerful machines we stock. Two thousand watts is eight times the UK road limit, so we sell it for private use only: ground you own, or ground where you have permission.

A battery in the top tenth of our range
Twenty-three amp-hours at forty-eight volts is among the largest packs we sell, and it needs to be: a 2000W motor asked to work hard empties a small battery very quickly.
The panel below turns the capacity into energy and into what a charge costs. On a pack this size the answer is still measured in pennies.
It carries nearly four hundred pounds
The rated payload is in the top eighth of everything we sell. A heavy rider with a loaded pack, or a rider plus cargo on the back, is well inside what this frame is built for.
On a machine meant for working land rather than commuting, that is the specification that decides whether it is useful.
Hydraulic brakes, and this bike needs them
Hydraulic discs front and rear. On a bike this heavy, with this much power, cable brakes would fade on the first long descent.
One finger is enough, they do not lose their bite when wet, and they keep working when the pads are hot.
Fat tyres on twenty-inch wheels
Small wheels with wide tyres keep the standover height low and the contact patch large, which is what you want on soft ground with a heavy machine underneath you.
Run them soft for sand, mud and snow; firmer for hard-packed track.
Aluminium, which is why it is not heavier
The frame is aluminium alloy. At ninety-three pounds this is among the heaviest bikes we sell even so, and a steel version of the same machine would be worse.
It also will not rust, which matters on something that spends its life outdoors and wet.
Torque where the ground is loose
What a motor this size buys is not top speed, it is the ability to keep turning the wheel when the surface gives way. A smaller motor spins and stops; this one digs in and goes.
On wet grass, deep gravel or a steep bank that is the whole difference.
What to do before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled, and it is heavy: get a second pair of hands for the unboxing.
- Fit the front wheel, handlebar and pedals
- Bed the hydraulic brakes in at walking pace before you use the power
- Set tyre pressure low for soft ground, higher for hard-packed
- Confirm you have somewhere private and lawful to ride it
- Charge to full once before the first session
Heavy, and much heavier with a flat battery
Ninety-three pounds is a great deal of bicycle. With assistance it does not feel like it; without assistance it feels like every pound.
Plan sessions around the charge rather than finding the bottom of it, because pedalling this home unassisted is not something anyone does twice.
You cannot ride this on the road
A motor eight times the legal limit is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle under any reading of UK law. It cannot be ridden on a public road, a pavement or a cycle path.
If you have land, this is one of the most capable things we sell. If you do not, it is the wrong purchase and we would rather point you at our 250W range than take the order.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
