A kilowatt and a big battery, for private ground
The Emoko C91 pairs a 1000W motor with a twenty amp-hour pack, four times the UK road limit. We sell it for private land only: ground you own, or ground where you have permission.
Not a road, not a pavement, not a cycle path. That comes first because it decides the purchase.
The battery is sized for the motor
Twenty amp-hours puts the pack in the upper quarter of our catalogue, and on a kilowatt machine that is not indulgence: a smaller battery would give you a lap rather than a session.

Forty miles, and the honest reading
The claim is below the middle of our range, and that is with the motor working gently. Used at the power you bought it for, expect considerably less.
The bands in the table below are the realistic version, and on a high-output machine the gap between claim and reality is wider than on a 250W bike.
Dual disc brakes
Discs front and rear, which hold their bite when the pads are hot and the ground is wet.
On a seventy-one pound machine with this much motor, brakes are not the place to economise, and they are worth checking before every session rather than every month.
Fat tyres on twenty-inch wheels
Four inches of tyre at low pressure turns mud, sand, wet grass and loose gravel into ordinary ground, and acts as suspension on a frame that has little else.
Small wheels give the motor leverage, which is why a machine like this pulls away so hard.
Six to eight hours to fill
A large pack on a standard charger. Charge after a session rather than before one and the machine is always ready.
Charging often rather than running to empty is what keeps a battery healthy into its third year.

Two things to check before you order. The rated payload is lower than almost every other bike we sell, which on a high-power fat-tyre machine is not what the shape implies: compare the figure in the table below with your own weight plus what you carry.
Emoko also did not state a frame material, so we do not print one. If either matters, ask us and we will check the unit we hold.
You cannot ride this on the road
A motor four times the legal limit is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle in the UK. It cannot be ridden on a public road, a pavement or a cycle path.
If you have the ground, the battery is the reason to choose this over the cheaper kilowatt machines on the same shelf. If you do not have the ground, our 250W range will take you to work and this will not.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
