This Model Is Fully Compliant With UK Road Regulations
This bike is built to comply with UK Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) regulations, meaning it can be used on public roads and cycle paths without registration, tax, or a licence. Motor assistance is limited to 250W and cuts off at 15.5 mph (25 km/h).
See UK LegislationThis one carries 187 Wh of battery. The maker quotes 16 mi; in mixed riding with some hills, expect nearer 12 mi. A full charge costs about £0.05. Across a year that is roughly £983.00 less than making the same journeys by car, so the bike pays for itself in about 8 months. Everything here is worked out from this bike's own specification. Estimates, not promises: the assumptions are printed underneath.

Thirty eight pounds, and a chromoly frame
The Onesport OT02 Pro weighs 38 lbs, which puts it in the lightest two per cent of our catalogue, on a chromoly steel folding frame, at £649.
Road legal at 250W: no licence, no tax, no insurance, nothing to register.

Read the weight limit before anything else
A hundred and seventy six pounds, which is the lowest figure in our catalogue.
That is rider plus everything on the bike, not rider alone. Twelve and a half stone with a rucksack is at the limit. If you are over about twelve stone, this is the wrong bike and we would much rather tell you now than after it arrives.
Everything else on this page assumes you have read that paragraph.

Chromoly steel, which is why it is light and still holds together
Chromium molybdenum: the alloy frame builders use when they want steel thin enough to be light and strong enough to survive being thin.
It is more forgiving than aluminium, it can be welded and repaired anywhere, and it is the reason a thirty eight pound folding bike is not a fragile one. The low weight limit comes from the hinge and the small wheels rather than the tubing.

Sixteen miles, and we will not dress it up
Five point two amp hours at 36 volts is about 190 watt hours, the smallest battery in our catalogue, and the range is sixteen miles.
That is a short journey bike. Three hours to a full charge, so you can put it all back over an afternoon, which is how a battery this size is meant to be used.
The panel below turns the capacity into energy per mile so you can see exactly what you are working with.

What thirty eight pounds actually buys
The weight is not a specification line, it is the whole reason this bike exists.
- Carried up stairs in one hand
- Lifted onto a train or into a boot without planning
- Folded into a corner of an office
- And it rides as an ordinary bicycle when the battery is flat, which at this weight is genuinely pleasant

Thirty newton metres
Modest, and on a thirty eight pound bike carrying at most a hundred and seventy six pounds, it does not need to be more.
On flat urban routes and gentle hills it is adequate. On a steep climb from a standstill you will be doing most of the work, and that is the honest shape of a bike this small.

Before the first ride
It arrives folded and largely built.
- Unfold and lock the frame hinge and the stem, then check both are tight
- Fit the pedals and set the saddle to hip height
- Check both disc brakes and tyre pressure on the twenty inch wheels
- Weigh yourself and your bag against the 176 pound limit honestly
- Charge to full before the first ride

One of the older listings on our shelf
This one predates our current supplier, so its specification table is shorter than the ones beside it and there is no component list to quote, because none was published.
Everything in the table is stated and nothing has been filled in.

Who it is for
A lighter rider with a short commute that involves stairs, a train or a car, who wants a bike they will genuinely carry rather than wheel.
It is a very small bike with a very short range on a very light frame, and all three are the same decision made consistently. If any of them is wrong for you, ask us and we will find you something else rather than sell you this.

- How do I choose the right electric bike for me?
- Pick a bike based on how you plan to ride. City bikes are great for commuting, folding bikes work well if you need compact storage, mountain bikes handle hills and mixed terrain, and cargo bikes are ideal for carrying shopping or loads. If you are not sure, our Bike Quiz can help.
- Are the batteries original and certified?
- Yes. Every electric bike battery is brand new and original from the manufacturer, with full safety certification and performance testing.
- Are the bikes tested before shipping?
- Yes. Each e-bike goes through a quality check before dispatch, covering electronics, brakes, motor response, and battery performance.
- Do electric bikes come with a warranty?
- Yes. All electric bikes from BikTron include a manufacturer warranty. Duration depends on the brand and model. Most bikes include a 12-month warranty as standard.
- How long does delivery take?
- Standard UK delivery usually takes 2 to 7 business days. Remote areas may take a little longer. You will receive a tracking link by email once your order is dispatched.
- Which payment methods do you accept?
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna buy-now-pay-later. All payments are processed securely.

- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
