The KUKIRIN G4 runs a 60 volt system with 2000W and 11 inch wheels, at £729.
It reaches 43 mph and is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle, so we sell it for private use on private land. Please read the panel above before you order.
Where you can and cannot ride it
A privately owned electric scooter cannot legally be used on a public road, pavement or cycle path in the UK, at any power. It is not a question of speed.
This one is sold for your own property, or land where the owner has given you permission. Forty three miles an hour standing on a deck is closer to a motorcycle than anything else we sell, and it should be treated that way.
Sixty volts, which almost nothing here runs
Most scooters are 48 volts and a handful are 52. This is 60.
Higher voltage moves the same power at lower current, which means less heat in the controller and wiring and less sag when the motor is working hard. At two thousand watts that stops being a nicety and becomes the reason it holds its performance instead of fading.
Eleven inch wheels at this speed
An inch of diameter sounds like nothing and is the difference between a machine you trust at speed and one you do not.
- A bigger wheel rolls over an edge instead of stopping against it
- More air in the tyre, so more cushioning
- Far more stable at 43 mph than a ten inch wheel
- And a 185 mm chassis height to clear rough ground
Three speed levels, and the third is the whole machine
Twenty, forty and seventy kilometres an hour.
Level one is a walking-pace-plus setting for shared ground. Level three is everything the machine has. There is nothing gradual about the step between them, so learn it on level one and stay there until it is genuinely familiar.
Steel and aluminium, and ninety two pounds
Steel where the loads are, aluminium elsewhere, and forty one and a half kilograms as a result.
Heavier than ninety one per cent of our catalogue. That weight is what keeps it planted at speed, and it is also why getting it into a van is a two person job.
Twelve hundred watt hours
Sixty volts and twenty amp hours, quoted at up to 75 km, filling on a 67.2 volt two amp charger.
At two thousand watts and 70 km/h, that figure falls away fast. The panel below does the arithmetic so you can see what the top level actually costs.
Disc brakes and an electronic brake at both ends
Front and rear discs plus electronic braking through the motor.
At this speed and weight the brakes are the most important thing on the machine. Bed them in properly before you use the power, and check them before every ride the way you would on a motorcycle.
Before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled and folded, at ninety two pounds. It is a two person unpack.

- Bed all four brakes in at walking pace
- Stay on level one until the machine is familiar, not until you are bored

What KUKIRIN did not publish, and who should not buy it
There is no maximum load and no charging time for this model, so the table below leaves both rows out rather than filling them in. The load rating matters on a scooter because the deck and stem carry all of it. Ask us and we will chase it.
This is not for public roads and it is not a first machine. Buy it if you have ground, you understand what 43 mph asks of a rider, and you want a sixty volt system with eleven inch wheels underneath it.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
