Two motors, a fifty two volt system, and hydraulic shocks
The KUKIRIN G2 Master uses two 1000W motors on a 52 volt 20.8 amp hour battery, with hydraulic shock absorbers, at £779.
It reaches 37 mph and is not an electrically assisted pedal cycle, so we sell it for private use on private land. Please read the panel above before you order.
Where you can and cannot ride it
A privately owned electric scooter cannot legally be used on a public road, pavement or cycle path in the UK, at any power.
This one is sold for your own property, or land where the owner has given you permission.
Hydraulic shocks rather than springs
This is the specification that separates it from the G4 we also list.
A spring stores energy and gives it straight back, so the machine bounces. A hydraulic damper turns that energy into heat and lets the wheel settle. On rough ground at speed, the difference is whether the tyre stays in contact with the surface or skips across it.
How it compares with the G4
We list the KUKIRIN G4 at £729, which is fifty pounds less and quotes a higher top speed on a sixty volt system with eleven inch wheels.
This one has the hydraulic damping and two separate motors rather than one. The G4 is the faster machine in a straight line; this is the one that deals with a broken surface better.
A motor in each wheel
Not one large motor: two of a thousand watts each.

Three speed levels, and a single drive option

Single drive is the efficient setting for a long flat run; both motors are for loose ground and climbs. Being able to choose is worth more than either setting on its own.

Disc brakes and an electronic brake at both ends
Front and rear discs with electronic braking through the motors.
The electronic brakes take the everyday slowing and wear nothing; the discs are there for the stop that matters. At 37 mph, having both at both ends is the correct specification.
Before the first ride
It arrives largely assembled and folded, to 1260 by 595 by 595 millimetres.

- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
