Where you may ride it, and where you may not
In the UK an electric bicycle is capped at 250W. This one is rated at four times that in peak terms.
It is sold for your own land, or land whose owner has given you permission. On a public road it would be a moped: registration, insurance, tax and a licence.
One-piece wheels, with no spokes at all
VICTRIP casts the rim and hub as a single part.

UL2271, and why that line matters
UL2271 is the American safety standard for lithium batteries in light electric vehicles: overcharge, short circuit, crush and thermal runaway.
It is a test passed in a third-party laboratory rather than a claim by the maker, and almost no sheet in this catalogue cites it. The pack is 720 Wh at 48V and weighs 4.5 kg on its own.
VICTRIP publishes both ranges
Fifty kilometres on the throttle alone, up to 100 with pedal assist, and five to seven hours to charge.
Our table carries 62 miles. The throttle figure is the one to hold on to if you plan to let the motor work. The panel below turns the capacity into energy per mile.
The brakes are mechanical, and on this machine you should know
160 mm cable discs front and rear, with brake priority protection on the levers.
The priority function cuts the motor when you touch a lever, which recovers part of the compromise. But on a 77 lb machine with a 1000W peak motor we would want hydraulic, and it is the first thing we would ask about.
A single speed, and a short rider range
One gear, a single-speed flywheel and a 48-tooth chainring: nothing to shift and nothing to adjust.
VICTRIP sizes it for riders of 4 ft 9 in to 5 ft 11 in, with the seat 69 cm off the floor and a total length of 152 cm. That is a small machine built for shorter riders, and it is the first thing to check.
Before the first ride, and who it is for
It arrives 92% assembled, in a box 130 × 24 × 72 cm. High-carbon steel frame, 330 lbs of payload, a non-adjustable high-crown fork, 24 cm of ground clearance.

- Bed both mechanical brakes in at walking pace and set the cable tension
- Check that tension again after the first ride
- Helmet, gloves and long sleeves, every time
- Allow five to seven hours for the first charge
Buy it for the cast wheels and the certified battery, on land of your own. The short frame makes it lively rather than stable, and the mechanical brakes are the compromise that pays for the price.

- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
