150 PSI, accurate to half a pound, stops on its own
A pocket compressor with a 55 W copper motor in a metal cylinder, a 4000 mAh battery that charges over USB-C in about two and a half hours, and five presets: car, motorcycle, bicycle, ball, and one you set.
The number that matters is not the 150 PSI ceiling. It is the half a PSI of accuracy and the automatic shut-off: you dial in a pressure, it reaches it and stops.
Why pressure accuracy matters more than maximum pressure on an e-bike
Nothing we sell needs 150 PSI. The useful range is far lower, and being at the right end of it changes the ride.
- A 20 x 4.0 or 26 x 4.0 fat tyre runs somewhere between about 5 and 20 PSI
- A 27.5 x 1.95 city tyre wants roughly 40 to 65 PSI
- A 700C tyre on our slimmer commuters wants more again
- The number the tyre wants is printed on the tyre sidewall, and that is the number to trust
At fat-tyre pressures, half a PSI either way is a real proportion of the total. A floor pump gauge that reads to the nearest five is guessing at that end of the scale.
Underinflated tyres cost you range
This is the argument for owning one at all, and it is measurable rather than theoretical.
A soft tyre deforms at the contact patch on every rotation and that deformation is energy, taken from a battery you paid for. On a heavy bike with a wide tyre, the effect is larger than on a road bike, because there is more tyre and more weight pressing on it. Checking pressure weekly is the cheapest range upgrade available to you, and it costs nothing after the pump.
Schrader, Presta, and knowing which you have
It comes with a Schrader hose and a Presta adapter, which covers everything in this shop.
Most of our bikes use a Schrader valve, the fat kind, the same as a car. If your valve has a slim brass stem with a little nut on top that you unscrew, that is Presta, and the adapter in the box screws onto it. The head is on a short 13 cm hose and rotates, so you can reach a valve without moving the bike.
How fast it actually is
The maker's own figure is about three minutes to fill a 700 x 23C road tyre from flat, and around seventy seconds to take a car tyre from 30 to 36 PSI.
Read that as a topping-up tool rather than a tyre-fitting tool. A fat tyre from completely flat is a lot of air at low pressure and will take several fills of patience, but it does it. For the weekly check, which is what you will actually use it for, it is a few seconds a tyre.
Two things to know before ordering
The listing gives the weight twice and differently: the specification table says 380 g and the maker's own bullet says 447 g. The difference is about the weight of the bag and the adapters, but the page does not say so, and we are not going to claim it does.
And it is a compressor, not a magic wand: it gets warm in continuous use, as any small compressor does, and it prefers a pause between tyres. Keep it in a pannier with the puncture kit and it will spend most of its life doing thirty-second jobs.

- Yes. All electric bikes from BikTron include a manufacturer warranty. Duration depends on the brand and model. Most bikes include a 12-month warranty as standard.
- How long does delivery take?
- Standard UK delivery usually takes 2 to 7 business days. Remote areas may take a little longer. You will receive a tracking link by email once your order is dispatched.
- Which payment methods do you accept?
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna buy-now-pay-later. All payments are processed securely.
- Can I return my electric bike?
- Yes. You can ride the bike and still return it. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we book the courier and collect it from your door. Contact us first and we will guide you through the process.
- Do the bikes need assembly?
- Most electric bikes arrive 85 to 90 per cent pre-assembled. You will usually need to attach the handlebars, pedals, and adjust the seat. A basic tool set is often included.
- Are BikTron electric bikes legal to ride in the UK?
- Yes. All bikes sold by BikTron that meet UK EAPC rules (250W motor, max 15.5 mph assisted speed, pedal-assisted only) are fully road-legal. You do not need a licence, tax, or insurance to ride them on public roads. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
- What about the electric scooters?
- Those are different, and the law treats them differently. A privately owned e-scooter cannot legally be ridden on a public road, pavement or cycle lane in the UK, whoever sold it. We sell ours for private land use only, with the landowner's permission, and every scooter product page says so. If you want something you can ride to work, choose an electric bike.
